Digital Bookmobile will stop at Porter Library

Overdrive Inc.’s Digital Bookmobile National Tour will be making a stop at Westlake Porter Public Library on Wednesday, July 18, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visitors are invited to board this unique traveling exhibit and enjoy an interactive experience in which they’ll learn about and try eBooks and audiobooks available from the library.

Readers at all levels of comfort and familiarity with eBooks are welcome. Equipped with interactive workstations, touchscreen activities, devices to sample titles and more, the Digital Bookmobile has all readers need to get started. Popular devices, including iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets, Chromebook and Kindle, fill the Gadget Gallery for visitors to browse Porter Library’s digital service.

Library staff and Overdrive eReading experts will be available to guide visitors through the easy process of borrowing eBooks and audiobooks, share tips, and troubleshoot. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own digital devices.
