Busy Sunday morning in Westlake
Sunday, April 7, was very busy in morning Westlake thanks to Hermes and the Westlake Kiwanis Family. The Westlake Spring Fever 4-mile and 2-mile races were put on by Hermes for the benefit of Lakeshore Day Camp and Westlake Kiwanis. The Kiwanis put on a pancake breakfast for the runners and the general public.
The Westlake Kiwanis Aktion Club held a bake sale at the breakfast, with the Westlake Kiwanis Family Key Club, Builders Club and Aktion Club working together to make the the events run smoothly. There were baked goods, homemade dog treats, raffles and face painting. It was busy morning but a very fun morning.

I am a member of the Westlake Kiwanis and and advisor for the Westlake Kiwanis Aktion Club. The Aktion Club is sponsored by the Kiwanis the same as a Key, Builders and Circle K Clubs.
