  • Wednesdays (10 a.m.) Baby and Me Storytime – ages birth-18 months
  • Thursdays (10 a.m.) Preschool Storytime – ages 3-5 (not yet in kindergarten)
  • Fridays (10 a.m. and 11 a.m.) Family Storytime – for all ages

Wednesday, April 24 (2 p.m.) Bloxels – Get your STEAM juices flowing as you personalize Bloxels' Ugly Sweater Kitty into your very own video game character! Test your creation using the Bloxels app. No prior game building or coding required! 

Thursday, April 25 (2 p.m.) Spring Break Movie – For all ages with a caregiver. Visit the library for a special screening of a popular movie. Bring a blanket and pillow or sleeping bag. A parent/guardian must sign a release form before the program.

Saturday, May 4 (2 p.m.) Star Wars Day – May the Fourth Be With You! Drop in to celebrate Star Wars Day with Jedi Training activities! Don’t forget to wear your Star Wars gear!

Saturday, May 11 (10 a.m.) Preschool STEAM – Join us for stories and a hands-on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, mathematics) activity.

Wednesday, April 17  (3 p.m.) Teen Zone – Grades 5 & up: Hang out with something fun to do after school – gaming, art, movies, technology and more!

Wednesday, April 17 (7 p.m.) Car Capital of the World – Remember when Cleveland was the automobile capital of the world? Join the Western Reserve Historical Society for a look at the 20th century and discover a treasure of Cleveland-made vehicles.

Thursday, April 18 (7 p.m.) Abraham Lincoln: The 16th President as portrayed by John King – The Civil War started 158 years ago this month and the story of the President who led us through that difficult time is still fascinating.  Join us as John King brings Abraham Lincoln to life with his portrayal of the 16th president. 

Friday, May 3 (10 a.m.) BAYarts Book Discussion – Join friends, neighbors and library staff for this monthly book discussion on the BAYarts campus. This month's title, "The Great Believers" by Rebecca Makkai, is available at the library and BAYarts one month before the discussion.  

Wednesday, May 8 (7 p.m.) Master Gardeners: Succulents – Join us as the Master Gardeners of Cuyahoga County present a program on succulents. Succulents can be more than “Hens and Chicks.” Come to be introduced to many unusual varieties, learn how to grow and care for them and get ideas on how to design interesting planters. 

Thursday, May 9 (7 p.m.) Terry Pluto – The author and Plain Dealer sports columnist will discuss the good and bad of Cleveland sports.  

Saturday, May 11 (2 p.m.) Glass Etching – Create your own etched glass water bottle using vinyl stencils while learning about our Innovation Centers. This program is for adults 18 years and older.
