Bay Village Schools superintendent honored by national communication association
Bay Village Schools Superintendent Jodie Hausmann has been named a "2020 Superintendent to Watch" by the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA).
Hausmann was one of 24 district leaders in the country honored, selected for her use of communication technology in innovative and effective ways. According to NSPRA's Sept. 2 announcement, Hausmann and the other 23 honorees "engage and inform their school communities with new communication technology tools combined with tried-and-true techniques, and possess dynamic, fast-paced leadership with strong communication at its core."
Only one other Ohio superintendent made the list, Tracy Wheeler from Berea City School District.
NSPRA has been providing school communication training, products and services to school leaders throughout the United States, Canada and the U.S. Dept. of Defense Education Activity schools worldwide since 1935. The nonprofit, professional association's mission is to advance education through responsible public relations and communication that leads to success for all students.
