BAYarts installs mural for the community

It takes a village! BAYarts' new mural is a community collaboration that incorporates the positive message of the healing power of art, community and the natural beauty of the Cleveland Metroparks.
The mural was conceived and created by BAYarts students under the guidance of their mentor Jim Giar, a professional muralist and BAYarts faculty member. Another community group, Bay Village Kiwanis, took care of installing it on the west side of the former playhouse.
The site was chosen for its proximity to BAYarts' back lawn where art classes, music and celebrations take place. Donors can purchase one of the limited spaces in the "school of fish" to show their support at www.bayarts.net. It's also a great photo op!
