Westlake's new Community Services Center grand opening and State of the City address

The city of Westlake is holding a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new Community Services Center, 28975 Hilliard Blvd., on Tuesday, July 13, starting at 4:30 p.m.

The event will include self-guided tours, music, refreshments, an ice cream truck, a raffle, health screenings and food cooked by UH St. John Medical Center’s personal chef.

The grand opening will kick off at 4:30 p.m. with a ribbon cutting and a few remarks from Mayor Clough. Staff will be stationed throughout the Center to provide more information and answer questions as people take their own self-guided tours around the facility.

Beginning at 7 p.m. in the Eileen Humphrey Auditorium, the Westlake | Bay Village Observer will host the State of the City address with Mayor Dennis Clough. Residents are invited to come and learn more about how Westlake managed last year’s challenges and what new projects are on the horizon.

Both events are free and open to the public.
