BAYarts' Tall Walls exhibit offers easy art shopping

Art from a variety of mediums, including this piece by Chad Cochran, will be displayed for sale in a floor-to-ceiling exhibit at BAYarts through December.

Quite literally using the entire towering expanse of the gallery walls, the BAYarts Tall Walls exhibition will be showcasing generous handfuls of art from many of the organization's artists.

BAYarts Artistic Director, Karen Petkovic, is excited for this inaugural year of the concept. "The idea is that an overflowing amount of art will be filling the walls up to the high ceilings and down to the floors." And there's a large amount of artists who will be supplying the art.

Featured artists include: Chad Cochran, Al Fuchs, Larry Kasperak, Christopher Gray, Mary Burkhardt, Susanne Dotson, Angela Oster, Jack Koch and many more.

With a variety of mediums (from photography to watercolors), artistic styles, prices and sizes, there's art to suit all aesthetics. As pieces sell, new ones will be hung in their place, making the gallery a rotating hotbed of local art.

An opening reception, free to the public, will be held on Friday, Dec. 4, 7-9 p.m. The exhibition will be open Monday-Saturday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., through December.
