Nate Cross announces candidacy for Westlake's ward 2 council seat

Nate Cross
With a primary election on Tuesday, May 7, I am asking for your support to be your next Westlake City Council member to represent Ward 2.
I am energized by the opportunity to further serve the public, which has been something I have done my entire life, in both the public sector and non-profit arena – as illustrated by my active involvement in the community for the past decade.
Currently, I serve as an elected member of the Westlake School Board, and currently work for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, where I serve as the executive director.
In addition to my role as an elected representative, I have served as a member of the Westlake Planning Commission; served as co-chair of the Crocker Park Civic Development Committee; served as a member of the St. Bernadette School Commission; serve as vice president of Westlake World Partners Inc.; served as founder and chairman of the St. Bernadette Night at the Races; and served as founder and chairman of the St. Bernadette Community Carnival.
Additionally, I possess a Bachelor’s Degree (BA) and Master's in Public Administration (MPA) degree from Cleveland State University. I have been married for 17 years, have two children and am a member of St. Bernadette Parish, and am a long-time member of the Westlake community.
My goal is to continue to serve the public. I view Westlake as a wonderfully well-run community, and have made it a point to support and work with all our city leaders such as Westlake Mayor Dennis Clough and State Rep. Nan Baker, who amongst many others, support and endorse my candidacy to become the next Ward 2 Councilman.
With many significant issues on the ballot May 7, please remember to exercise your civic duty and vote!
