Where has the time gone?

It seems like yesterday that the Knickerbocker Apartments was bustling with many activities of the season. Christmas is always special, living in a community where one has so many good friends and neighbors that participate in making the season a joyful one.

We still are gifted with the lovely display of lights in the courtyard, which many of the school children find fascinating when they come and visit during the holidays, and the gingerbread houses decorated by happy residents add a special flair of ambiance.

There is and always has been, a warmth and love here that nothing can change. We have seen many good friends pass that will certainly be missed. We are surrounded by daily and nightly news of tragedies unfolding in cities around the world, but are reminded that with friendships formed, and love, we can all withstand the storms.

The snow is snowing, and the wind is blowing but we can weather the storm!

So here at the Knickerbocker, all of us wish our readers a very blessed Christmas, and the happiest of New Years. We love our Observer, the little paper that "Keeps on giving" for it gives us a chance to thank the community, and all those that read it.
