Bay Village Women's Club awards scholarships
Eight graduating Bay High School seniors are this year's recipients of a $2,000 scholarship to the college of their choice from the Bay Village Women's Club. They were introduced at the annual Scholarship Luncheon at the Cleveland Yachting Club on May 3, where they announced their field of study and their university.
Three students will be attending The Ohio State University. Anna Evans will major in speech and hearing science, Carly Goebel will study physics and pre-veterinary courses, and biology will be the focus of study for Jessica Rychel.
Jade Krol is enrolling at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, where her major is pre-med chemistry.
Morgan Jackson will be studying nursing at the University of Cincinnati while Allison Maust will be majoring in architecture at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Alexa Pohlkamp will be preparing for a teaching career as an education major at Ohio University. Communications will be the major of Sara Sirignano at the University of Pittsburgh.
