'Brookdale University' graduates learn from one of their own

Some of our recent “graduates” who excitedly are ready for next year’s “semester.”

Brookdale Westlake Village redefines the meaning of being a senior: “A person who is older than another, a person of higher rank by virtue vs. valor, a senior in a rank of college or other level of learning.”

Our independent living residents have embraced this season of giving by “going back to school” and absorbing the “Power of Being Human.” As we prepare our hearts for the holidays we embrace our minds with a series of courses brought to light by our own Les Nichols.

Whether is it nature vs. nurture, inheritable traits, variations in our gene codes, or the environment in which we choose to live, they all determine who we are as individuals. Les Nichols shared his passion for learning to a group of over 25 residents for a series of weeks focusing on different lessons of human behavioral biology. In the season of giving, we are so thankful to offer the gift of learning to you. Brookdale Westlake Village will be hosting a new series of learning in 2019 and we welcome you to visit our campus.
