Westlake Memorial Day Parade to return this year
The Westlake Memorial Day Parade, sponsored by the Westlake Kiwanis, will be held on May 31. The starting point will be at Sts. Peter & George Coptic Orthodox Church, 25800 Hilliard Blvd., at 10 a.m. The parade will march down Hilliard and end up at Clague Park, where a small ceremony will be held in the gazebo.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there will be no candy or flags handed out. Also, the City asks that parade spectators stay off the grass median. People are welcome to watch from the south curb side and north street side of Hilliard. This will help with spacing requirements.
