Outdoor summer worship offered by Bay United Methodist

Once a month during the summer, Rev. Lisa Kropinak, Senior Pastor of Bay United Methodist Church, is offering an outdoor worship service at Huntington Beach & Reservation. Outdoor worship will take place at 8 a.m. on Sundays, June 11, July 9, and Aug. 13.

Gathering at the top of the ridge at Huntington, just west of the Noshery, participants will enjoy the morning backdrop, adding a special dimension to the worship experience.

“Living on an amazing body of water like Lake Erie allows us to deepen our faith as we seek to see God’s face in the natural world,” states Pastor Lisa. “Our houses of worship give us safe spaces to exercise our faith. The lake broadens our perspective of that faith and calls us to humility and awe.”

Outdoor summer worship is open to everyone. Those interested should bring their lawn chairs. The worship services will be held rain or shine, with worship taking place at the nearby picnic shelter in wet weather. Please note that regular Sunday services will continue to be held at 10 a.m. at Bay United Methodist Church, 29931 Lake Road, with Pastor Lisa presiding. For more information, visit www.bayumc.org.
