St. Ladislas welcomes Father Mark

Father Mark Latcovich

The St. Ladislas Parish community is thrilled to announce the arrival of our new spiritual leader, Father Mark Latcovich. With warm hearts, open arms and incredible memories, we bid farewell to Father Donald Snyder, who has led us with dedication and love for the past 26 years. We embrace the beginning of a new chapter under the guidance of Father Latcovich.

Father Mark Latcovich comes to us with a wealth of experience, a compassionate spirit, and a deep commitment to serving God and our parishioners. Ordained in 1981, his journey as a priest has taken him to various corners of the world, including the last 11 years as the rector of Borromeo and St. Mary Seminaries where he was also a professor. These experiences have given him a unique perspective that we are excited to integrate into our parish family.

As we welcome Father Latcovich, we are reminded of the words of the Apostle Paul: "There are different kinds of gifts, but they are all from the same Spirit." We believe that Father Latcovich's gifts will enrich our community in so many ways, fostering spiritual growth, unity, and compassion among our congregation and the community of Westlake.

During this time of transition, we keep Father Latcovich in our prayers as he takes on his new role here at St. Ladislas. We also express our heartfelt gratitude to Father Donald Snyder for his unwavering dedication and leadership, which have left an indelible mark on our parish.

In the words of Psalms 133:1, "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity." As we embark on this exciting new chapter with Father Mark Latcovich, we will continue to support one another, nurture our spiritual growth, and strengthen the bonds of fellowship that define our cherished St. Ladislas Parish.

Welcome, Father Mark Latcovich!
