Bay Village students honor, learn from veterans

  • Marine Captain Mike Petro (Bay High Class of 2006) with his parents, John and Helen Petro. Mrs. Petro is a Bay High teacher.

  • Navy Commander Greg Schell (Bay High Class of 1981) with son Max, a Bay High freshman.

  • Second-grader Danny Zipfel brought his dad, Marc, who served active sea duty in the Navy.

  • Westerly students created a "Wall of Stars" honoring family members who served in our military.

  • Dozens of veterans, young and old, men and women, attended Normandy Elementary School's Veterans Day assembly.
