Workshop teaches spiritual laws of prosperity

What is it that keeps us all from being wealthy? Do we have to win the lottery to have a million-dollar bank account? Do we need a rich, old uncle who likes us best? Or, do we just have to work hard and save our pennies, keeping our noses to the grindstone?

What is the real definition of prosperity? Is it a large bank account? Is it the health of our family? The love of our friends? Is "more" better? Puzzling questions on a topic that concerns all of us, a topic that tumbles marriages apart, causes governments to be corrupt and crumble, and crimes to be committed.

Most therapists will say, we all have "a lot" on money. A lot of hang-ups about money, even down to how we fold it. Where does all this gunk about money come from? We can begin with the past, and take a look at our parents, our church, society, and the culture we were raised in.

Recall the warning, "Money is the root of all evil"? Or, "Blessed are the poor in spirit," which was often taught, or mistaught, "Blessed are the poor." Is it good to be poor, and bad to be rich? Did your dad ever say, "Money doesn't grow on trees"? This type of thinking can be attributed to the Great Depression, which created a poverty consciousness, yet still controls much of our thinking today.

Did you know there are spiritual laws that affect and cause our prosperity? Four of them to be exact! Please join us at Unity Spiritual Center for "The Four Spiritual Laws of Prosperity" with Edwene Gaines on Sunday, Nov. 22, 1:15-3:45 p.m. This workshop is an investment in yourself, and could be considered a new and vital skill you add to your repertoire. It is an inspiring workshop which will cause you to act on behalf of your own prosperity.
