Oct. 11 Herb Guild meeting will share the story of plants

The October meeting of the Herb Guild Garden Club will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 11, at Westlake Porter Public Library. The business meeting will start at 10 a.m. and the presentation will begin at 12:30 p.m.

October's presentation will be given by Jeff Griff from Lowe's Greenhouse and Gift Shop. Located in Chagrin Falls, Lowe's Greenhouse is not affiliated with Lowe's Home Improvement Store. They carry the usual variety of items you would find in a garden store, and in addition give a variety of fun workshops. At the presentation, Jeff will pick 10 plants and tell a story about each one. This is sure to be a fun and educational event. As always, guests are welcome to join.
