Spooky sale to haunt Bay Community House on Aug. 4
Believe it or not, the bewitching season of Halloween is just around the corner. At least that is how the members of the Cleveland Haunt Club see it. With that idea in mind they will be hosting the Club’s third annual Haunted Garage Sale and Hearse Cruise on Saturday, Aug. 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Bay Village Community House located at 303 Cahoon Road.
Yes, Halloween is looming for all of the Halloween fanatics and many a home haunter and professional haunter are cleaning out their attics, garages and basements of previous years' decorations to make room for this year’s Halloween extravaganzas. For the community this is a great opportunity to pick up some amazing spooky decorations, costumes, props, music and so much more at great prices.
There will also be a Halloween themed bake sale. We additionally plan on a small herd of skeletal horses to be attending this year’s event. Also be sure to check out the hearses as well as the Cleveland GhostBusters and their giant Stay Puft Marshmallow Man and Ecto-mobile. This is a free family friendly event that is ghastly fun for all.
This event is put on by the Cleveland Haunt Club which is a non-profit organization with the sole purpose of bringing together like-minded individuals with an interest in Halloween, the paranormal, and all things spooky on a monthly basis to share ideas and develop camaraderie amongst members. In existence since January 2015, the club’s meeting topics vary from building your own cemetery fences, toe-pincher coffins, pneumatic props and Styrofoam headstones for your home haunt, to paranormal investigations with the Tri-C Ghost Hunters at the closed Lorain St. Joseph’s Hospital and so much more. It is a great way to come up with your own ideas for your home.
