Westlake Rec hosts virtual sports league

Video game enthusiasts are invited to compete in the Westlake Recreation Department's Virtual Sports League. Registration is open through May 28 and the tournament starts June 1.

Competitors will be able to show off their virtual basketball skills in NBA 2K20 and on a simulated gridiron in Madden NFL 20 with separate divisions for Xbox and PlayStation gamers. Registration is open to players ages 12 and up. The league format will depend on the number of registered participants.

Prizes will be awarded for 1st and 2nd place in the form of a gift card for the player’s respective gaming system.
